Her favorite Bible verse is First John 4:4: “Greater is He than is in me, than he that is in the world.” She is married to Justin, a teacher at Episcopal High School. She and Justin have two children, Maddie and Macaiden.

Meg Meyer considers herself a Duval native, although she was born a Hoosier. She is married to David Meyer and has four children, Jacob, Michael, Stephen, and Thomas. Thomas is also an alum of Little Friends! She loves trying new recipes, walking, watching documentaries, and being with her family. Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."
Arold earned her bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and PhD in History from People’s Friendship University of Russia in Moscow. She moved to Jacksonville with her husband Mamy, daughter Miora, and son Tahiana in 2010. Since then she has been devoted to teaching children. She enjoys baking, gardening, and traveling with her family. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:1-4 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
